Just a quick note to let you know that both Albatross and America model boats docked safely at Longboat Key, and both look great. Thank you so much for your kind attention to all this. The Albatross model boat is a lovely little ship, although she does look a little lost in our apartment. With the benefit of hindsight, I probably should have got the full sized ship model of the USS Constitution, but I was a little apprehensive about the size. Anyway, I'll save that for another day. BATAVIA Ship Model:

Now that the model of the Batavia is on its way to Sharjah, I would like to thank you for the very thorough, friendly and professional manner in which you managed the project at your end. As you know, we faced an incredibly tight initial programme. We also faced difficulties in sourcing drawings and other building information.

Added to this, your model makers were being asked to produce a model to a much higher standard than their previous ones. Thankfully, everyone at Model-Ships rose to these challengers magnificently. As a result, we now have a very impressive 'musuem quality' model, which I am sure will greatly impress the client - His Royal Highnedd, the Ruler of Sharjah.

It has been a pleasure to have worked closely with you on this project. I would be grateful if you could pass on my thanks and congratulations to your colleague. They have performed splendidly!

BRIER HOLME Ship Model:
I was very pleased to collect my custom ship model of the three masted barque Brier Holme the other day. The ship model is wonderful and is a very accurate copy of the original vessel. The detail is marvellous and all the workmanship is superb.

To make this custom ship model from photographs only, and no plans as such, is a great achievement. It really is beautiful and admired by my friends. You have created a ship model of this 1876 vessel which will be handed down through the generations.

BRIXHAM TRAWLER  Model Boat:
Model arrived. Excellent model first class. Looks great. Good quality. Just unfortunate that postage is very dear in comparison to the price of the model but I suppose there is nothing we can do about that. Might be worth thinking about buying any models all at once to save on postage. Probably as cheap to send 2 or 3 models as it is to send one? Thank you very much for kind attention. Do you have many customers in New Zealand?  I’m just curious, because people here are really into boats – especially yachts and fishing/pleasure boating and Auckland is the boat owning capital of the world, I believe.  Having said that, there’s nobody here making ship models in the same way as yourselves, as far as I can tell.

I promised I'd write after giving the model to my husband for Christmas,tolet you have his feedback.  He was absolutely delighted with the gift and has started work on it already-although I suspect it will take him a very,  very long time to complete.  Anyway, a great success all round and something that he will enjoy for hours and hours-not to mention the fact, it keeps him out of my way!

I guess I was surprised that no one in Canada was offering these products, or at least I couldn't locate them.  Even the local hobby store in Saskatoon, SK, Hobbyworld, did not know where to direct me.  That could be an opportunity for your company.  At least the Hobby Stores could give out contact information for you. Perhaps in the Maritime regions there is more demand for this product, but the romance of tall ships is not restricted to that demographic!

The HMS Surprise model ship arrived in perfect condition, the day before my husband's birthday. It is amazingly beautiful and detailed; he was speechless when he saw it. He spent about an hour exploring it that first day, using his reference texts on O'Brian's novels to examine every detail. He was very moved by the gift and the skill and craftsmanship of your ship model builders. He's an engineer, and was particularly impressed with the way you designed and packaged the crate the HMS Surprise arrived in. He's planning on sending you and your employees his own message to express his admiration and thanks personally.

I thought that I would let you know that the HMS Victory model ship arrived safely the other day. Even after seeing the level of finish and attention to detail of your other ship models, when we met on your stand at the London Boat Show, I was still immensely impressed and pleased with the actual ship.
